Every girl deserves to go to school. Gram Vikas Trust gives this opportunity to girls by providing a bicycle and fulfils their dream of going to school. GlobalGiving helps GVT in making a difference in the lives of the Children. Gifting a bicycle to a girl makes it possible to save travel time and focus on her studies. The journey to school become safer and faster than before. GVT has started this project a while bacl to support a girl students in rural and interior tribal villages of Bharuch & Narmada district of Gujarat state where distance is a challenge for education. A unique concept of creation of Bicycle bank in the school so that Bicycle can be returned after completion of school and be reused by other girls students. This Bicycle bank can help hundrede of girls students complete schooling till 12th std. GVT provide these bicycle to the girl free of cost in consultant with concern schools. This will cater the need ot needy girl students who are drop out or likely to droped out The main purpose of the project is girl child access to basic education throguh supporting the re-enrolment and retation of girl missing out of schools as well as drop out in remote and interior village of District.
