With six years of experience in teaching and training behind us, U&I is now launching its 'In School' program. Using the expertise we've gained through the years, we are now partnering with low-income schools during school hours to enhance the quality of education offered.
Our first 'In School' partnership has begun with CJM School in Bangalore, India. About 10 teachers from the school were trained by U&I in eight sessions through the summer. The training modules spanned teaching practices, including creative banks and lesson planning, phonetics for teaching English, and Montessori training.
There was also an emphasis on using positive reinforcement and affirmations in the classroom, with the teachers being trained in Flippen Training tools.
With this first phase of teacher training launched, U&I is now set to train volunteers to assist in classrooms as tutors and teachers aides so that every child receives a quality education.
Through this program and our 30 Learning Centers, spread across India, U&I is now, more than ever, transforming the landscape of education. We couldn't be more excited for what lies ahead. Thank you for continuing to believe in what we do!
