Ashok, his wife and two children, who had to leave their home and stay in a temporary hut received a weatherHYDE last week.
States in eastern India continue to be flooded, and we sent 35 shelters to the state of Bihar, again with the help of our local partner, Goonj. Death toll in the states of Bihar & Assam continues to rise with over 10 million people affected by the deluge in the two states.
If you want to help more families like Ashok's, you can gift more life-saving shelters at billionbricks.org. You can also be part of our life-changing community and receive the latest updates on our work by signing up to our newsletter. Together we can save more lives!
In other news, billionBricks participated in the Conscious Festival held in Singapore in Nov 2019. Driving the agenda of conscious living, the festival was a zero-waste and vegan event where fun and sustainability went hand in hand. We partnered with Singapore Book Council, and involved children in story writing and story telling about what a HOME meant to them.

Warm regards,
Prasoon and the bB team
