Give education to 60 vulnerable Roma children

Dear supporters,

Thanks to your donations on GlobalGiving, we are able to continue with our educative program and to provide additional after school support for vulnerable children in our Centre and advisory support for the parents.

The children are attending our Educative Centre every day, divided in smaller groups. Our educators are using individual approach and the model of learning through creativity and play while working with the children. The main activities are focused on learning the Macedonia language, homework completion, reading support and Math help.

Life skills workshops for the children and parents have been organized on the  topic of  ”Healthy food” and learning about the benefits of homemade food, creative ways of preparing and serving the food for the children.

Learning the Housekeeping skills has been introduced within the life skills workshops for the children as well, through interactive exercises and activities.

Also the topics of “Syber bulling”, “Importance of education”, “How to organize our free time activities”, were included in the workshops for the children and parents, that were organized on weekly basis at our Centre.

The New Year celebration at our Centre was one of the most joufull events for the children, and receiving Christmas packages brought so much happiness and smiles.
These families cannot thank you enough for your continued support, and the difference your donations are making to their children’s lives.
Without your generous contributions many of the activities listed above would not have been possible.

Your support through the past few months has helped us continue to support total of 30 vulnerable children at our Centre. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding for this program we haven’t reached our aim yet to provide support for 60 vulnerable children at our Centre, but we are continuing with our efforts to make this a reality in the coming months.
