Our learning safe space, set-up in 2019 has been providing out-of-school children in Kware community who have never had access to any form of formal education, access to literacy, numeracy and social skills lessons every weekend for two (2) years following a carefully designed curriculum to aid accelerated learning, and help in their possible transition into formal schools.
Our present cohort of thirty (30) learners will be graduating from our safe space program having gained valuable reading, writing and social skills and as is the ACE tradition, we are holding a ceremony to celebrate the amazing growth of our beneficiaries. This celebration always means a lot to us and our beneficiaries as it helps us look back at their incredible learning journey. A lot of our beneficiaries couldn’t even properly hold a pencil prior to enrolling in our learning safe space!
Also, thanks to the support of our donors, one of the highlights of the ceremony is the award of scholarships to three (3) outstanding learners. I look forward to sharing pictures and videos from the celebration which is going to be held at the end of August.
With our continued dedication to building a future where every child has access to learning and your support for our work through your donations we truly believe the impact we make will last a lifetime for our beneficiaries.
Thank you!
