We are very proud to share that 29 of our girls graduated this May.
They are now one step closer towards employment and the empowerment that comes with that to begin lifting one's family out of poverty. It's no exaggeration to say that their families' lives will be forever changed.
Their degrees range from Law to Engineering to the Humanities. Many of them have jobs lined up and we'll be sharing some stories about the next chapter in their lives in the futures.
In the meantime, Masinyusane hosted graduation parties for all of the graduates and their families. It's impossible to describe all of the emotions: Pride. Joy. Disbelief. Excitement. Gratitude.
Many speeches were given. While Masinyusane was receiving all of the 'thanks' from the parents, it is really YOU who made this possible. It has been such a long journey with these young women and that would not have been possibly without the incredible generosity and support of so many of you.
You have helped make these girls dreams come true.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jim, Fiks & The Girls
