Nigeria has one of the highest numbers of out-of-school children in the world, with an estimated 18.3 million children and girls make-up 60% . lack of infrastructure, and limited access to educational support contributed to the problem. Poverty remains the biggest barrier affecting girls education. Families struggling to afford food often cannot buy school supplies, uniforms for girls to attend school. Without access to education, girls are trapped in a cycle of poverty.
