For months during the COVID 19 pandemic, parents and educators in Uganda were worried about whether schools would be able to re-open safely. Ensuring continuity of learning has always been critical and the degree to which schools would be able to return students to brick and mortar education remained uncertain.
Finally there is some light at the end of the tunnel as schools are opening up in phases for different classes to ensure conditions for learning will address students and teachers basic physical safety needs as well as social and emotional factors which impacts their capacity to learn and teach respectively.
We are thrilled that our Girl Power Project® girls who have received sponsorships through the program are going back to school where they belong. Thank you to each one of you who is making a difference in the lives of these girls.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support to bring Girl Power Project® around the world. We're all in this together, on a mission to Transform the World, One Girl at a Time™
