Dear Donors and GlobalGiving,
This project is ongoing and we have engaged in community sensitization about empowering the Girl-Mother, which has really speaks volumes, as community people themselves have seen the need. The message of accessing education and training, don’t be left behind and to avoid and end child marriages, as this would break the cycle of poverty. This message was embraced by both the beneficiaries and communities.
Also, we have held some radio discussion in these communities to help inform these communities about the need to support these Girl-mothers. With various people calling during the programme, it implies that they themselves are ready to push through with it.
So far we have identified 150 Girl-Mother in these communities visited, which are in dire need. But since the project lacks the necessary funding to take care of its beneficiaries. We saw the need to continue to appeal to our donors and globalgiving to help in diverse ways. We cannot achieve any success without you the donors and your support to make this project a success lies in your donations.
