18 months of the Gift a Future Campaign! Since our last report, we have participated in the Little by Little Campaign and #GivingTuesday. Our donors have continued to support the students at St. John Bosco Vocational Training School.
As the lives and livelihoods have slowly returned to the pre-COVID norm, education in many African countries are yet to fully recover. Already challenged education systems are further burdened by the inflation crisis that has been experienced across the world, further complicating parents ability to fInance their children’s education.
For this reason, scholarships continue to be an invaluable way to improve educational outcomes. Even further, the emphasis on future employability as part of education means that students at the vocational school can contribute to their households in a more meaningful way upon graduation. By donating to this project you are not only giving a future to the student by subsidising their fees, but also to their family members, and even their communities.
Thank you to all of our donors! We hope to keep this spirit of generosity burning bright as we gear up for the next Little by Little campaign in September.
