Meet Satyia, one of our young beneficiaries who loves going to kindergarten! Holding onto her teddy bear, this five-year-old says, "I love coming here. I do not have toys at home. Here there are plenty."
As we enter 2020, we are celebrating our 20th year of helping children and their families in hundreds of under-served villages in India and Nepal to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential. Together, we are ensuring that children in critical developmental stages receive engaging cognitive education. By providing training and supplies, we are insuring that the schools we support have:
- Quiet areas: a space for rest and reading
- Construction spaces: games, blocks etc.
- Imaginative play: dolls, kitchen etc.
- Space representation: cars, figurines, small animals etc.
Help us head into 2020 ready to provide ongoing training for preschool workers, provide educational toys and games, and support positive physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth in children.
Thank you for bringing the gift of play to young children in India! Active support from people around the world is helping us give children in need important skills they can carry with them throughout their lives.
