We’re so happy to share that our project, “Give the Gift of Play to a Child in Need in India” has received over 160 donations from people around the world! Together, we are ensuring that children in critical developmental stages receive engaging cognitive education. We are providing ongoing training for preschool workers, designing and providing educational toys and games, and supporting positive physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth in children.
During the first half of 2019, more than 90 preschools in the Indian state of Bihar have been visited by our social workers and community volunteers. The children at these preschools are benefiting from our teacher trainings and educational toys and games provided by Karuna-Shechen.
Thank you for bringing the gift of play to young children in India! Active support from people around the world is helping us give children in need important skills they can carry with them throughout their lives.
