Lots of smiles and laughter, as children receive many benefits at Karuna-Shechen's preschool programs!
When we saw preschool children in underserved Indian villages sitting in sparse rooms with little or no stimuli and no interaction, we decided to act — and we invited you to join us.
Together, we are ensuring that children in critical developmental stages receive engaging cognitive education. We are providing ongoing training for childcare workers, designing and providing educational toys and games, and supporting positive physical, emotional, cognitive and social growth in children.
"The children are so much better now thanks to Karuna-Shechen," says Devanti Devi, a classroom assistant. "They look forward to coming here because they get to play with engaging toys."
