Raise Education Centre continue to struggle with the hard times after the COVID 19 pandemic of the economic. The Centre was closed on 24/11/2022 for long holiday only grade six and eight which were sitting for their national exams Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and for grade Six K.P.S.E they did their national exam on 30th November and they finished on 3rd December. The results were very fruitful all our learners achieve pass grade. They were above meeting expectations we thank GlobalGiving and the donors for their full support in terms of feeding program and good learning environment which enable the pupils to perform.my name is William " not her real name in. My former school I was not enjoying the breakfast during break time and lunch which makes me frustrated because I was not concentrating with my studies which makes me fail in my studies and I was demoralized even to go to school. Since my neighbor introduce my aunt to this school I was enrolled in grade 4. Since then I have interest in education because during break time I get good meal with fruits and also lunch break this made me to like education and improve my performance due to the feeding program at Raise Education Centre. Thanks GlobalGiving and donors for the support you are giving to our learners.” my name is James" not her real name I was the one who scored highest marks in K.C.P.E national exams in Raise Education Centre I really thank the donors and GlobalGiving for giving us enough food and resources during exams period which makes me comfortable in class. I knew very well if I did not enroll myself in Raise Education Centre I could not score these highest marks. Thanks to the donors and GlobalGiving for doing great work in the institution was kindly and humbling appealing to donors and GlobalGiving to support me while am joining high school. This is because I know my parents cannot afford the high school cost we appeal for donors to chip in so that we can continue with education. We are like 30 pupils whom need assistance to join high school. Otherwise if we will not get support my dream for becoming an advocate will just disappear in a thin air. Me and my fellow classmates we thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their support in raise. The school was open on 23/1/2023 after resuming back from long holidays. We have also admitted 40 pupils up to date. We are expecting to run this term for 13 weeks whereby we will close on 22/4/20230.we are also expecting to do 4 exams in this term. We are also preparing grade6. And 8 for upcoming national exam "The premises where we run the organization is very congested and we a big place we need a big place. Where we will build permanent building and purchase land we are really requesting the donors and GlobalGiving to assist us and realized our dreams. We still need more desks, food, and text books and operation cost. Most of the new admissions they don't have school uniform we also need your support and old pupils have worn out clothes. We are also requesting the donors and GlobalGiving to assist our children with uniform.one pair of is 19 usd we need like 430 pairs God bless donors and GlobalGiving for continue supporting us. We are also inviting the donors on the ground in Kenya to have one on one with our children they normally keep on asking when will those from GlobalGiving and donors from Europe when will they come to Kenya. God bless GlobalGiving and their donors at large for their wonderful work they are doing at Raise Education Centre.
