Raise education centre is still struggling to get back in stability due to COVID-19 pandemic outcome and also the shooting of prices due to inflation and high cost of living and also the fighting in Ukraine and Russia is really affecting us especially in cooking oil and wheat flour. Last term the school was closed on 4/3/2022 with a population of 380 pupils. We did end year exams our pupils from pp1 to grade 7 score above average .We really appreciate GlobalGiving and donors for their efforts to ensure our learners always get food in the centre which has sustain them throughout the year and made them concentrate with there studies and as a result of the feeding program, all the pupils performed well." My name is John not my real name ,am very happy to be admitted in Raise education centre,I have always disturb my guardian to take me to Raise education centre this is because all our neighbours have been praising the community based Organization where by they eat varieties of food.where I was we did not have feeding program like in Raise in my former school we were not taught c.b.c by the teachers but in raise education centre we always take porridge and snacks at Break and always been given lunch healthy food and fruits, which makes me improve my performance I was number 1 last term in my class.I thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their full support by providing us with food, text books and desks which makes us study comfortable "This term the school was open on 25/4/2022 we were able to receive 55 new pupils this is due to the feeding program where the donors and GlobalGiving are providing we thank you alot."my name is Onyango not my real name, I really want to thank the donors and GlobalGiving this is because since I was admitted in Raise I have never missed food unlike I was at home I only take one meal per day. I was also not going to school because of poverty my parents are dead .Here in raise I get 3 meals per day I learn very comfortable because of decent meal and now am sure I will fulfill my dreams of becoming a medical doctor"All the candidates who sat for K.c.p.e exams were 40 and all of them scored good marks we thank the donors and GlobalGiving for supporting our candidate with food and text books, which enable them to concentrate on their studies. We still request more support for food and operation cost and also school uniform for our children and desks.
