In December, we gratefully received the notification of funds allocated through a donation aimed at supporting higher education for Indigenous youth in the Department of Vaupés.
To ensure fair and relevant distribution, an internal call was launched at University Center targeting students in vulnerable situations who belong to Indigenous communities in the region. A Scholarship Committee was formed to review and validate the applicants according to the established criteria. (The minutes of the Scholarship Committee are attached)
Following the evaluation process, four Indigenous students participated, and two were selected as direct beneficiaries of this generous support:

Business Administration student
Ethnicity:Guanana
Background:Father of a family, currently in his final semester
Enzo Abdala López Mosquera (Video Testimony)
Public Accounting student
Ethnicity:Desano
Both students come from the Gran Resguardo Indígena of Vaupés, and thanks to this donation, they are now able to continue their studies and pursue their dreams of transforming their lives and contributing to the development of their communities.
