General Satsang Project

The following report outlines the heartfelt activities that have been carried out with the generous donations from our donors in the third quarter of 2015.

Sunday Satsangs & Tea Satsangs:

At the end of the third quarter, there were 5 Sunday Satsangs & Tea Satsangs with an average  number of 303 attendees.

Silent Retreat with Mooji at Zmar - September 23rd-30th 2015:

13 Satsangs were organised for the Silent Retreat with Mooji from the 23rd-29th September 2015, at the Zmar Eco Resort in Portugal Many participants from around the world participated in this event. Mooji Foundation offered concessions for this event.

International Sangha:

Throughout the third quarter developments continued within the Mooji Sangha Global Community (MSGC) Facebook group. The purpose of MSGC is to support international Sangha organisers who come together in the energy field of Satsang. Groups are assisted with practical guidelines about setting up a local group, facilitating online retreats as well as sharing contacts within the International Sangha.

30 groups met for the July Monte Sahaja Retreat in Portugal and 32 groups met for the August Monte Sahaja Retreat. In addition, 33 groups worldwide came together at the end of September to participate in the week long Zmar Silent Retreat through the online broadcasts. Free passes were granted to support co-ordinators of groups hosting the retreat from their homes and community buildings.

Members expressed their deep gratitude to Mooji and the organisers of the retreat by posting and sharing many intimate messages and photographs on the Facebook group page.  These were collected into presentations and videos for Mooji revealing the experiences and settings of each group around the world.

The International Sangha team are currently evaluating the re-design ofmoojisangha.net. This is a platform used to help bring together the International Sangha

Podcasts:

9 new podcasts were uploaded for free to the public.

YouTube:

21 new videos were uploaded by the end of the third quarter bringing the total number of videos to 637. At the end of this quarter there was a total of 73,807 subscribers.

Subtitles:

After the successful Hindi dubbing of one of the Satsangs in Rishikesh, the subtitling team is now ready to create the first audio template for a Satsang with Russian translation from the 2015 season. The volume of the translator’s voice will be lowered, so that the translation into other languages can be recorded over it. This may be an alternative to the time-consuming process of transcribing and translating subtitles.

The subtitling team has streamlined the introduction process for new volunteers to support the language coordinators. New volunteers for Hungarian and Polish have recently joined this team. In addition,  new language coordinators for the French and Portuguese language teams have joined.

Social Media:

At the end of the third quarter of 2015, our Facebook page received a total of 229,900 likes with the majority of fans coming from the United States, India and the United Kingdom.

Mooji.TV:

Mooji TV was launched on February 17th 2015. Mooji TV is a large and growing searchable collection of the audio and video recordings of Satsang with Mooji. One can join all the live Satsang broadcasts such as Sunday Satsang and the Online Retreats, where one can sit in real time with Mooji at home.

Mooji TV also offers a new video subscription channel of spontaneous talks called Sahaja Express. In the third quarter, this new platform saw 678 new payable subscribers. At the end of September 2015, there were 938 videos at the end of September 2015

Mooji Foundation is grateful for all the support from our donors without whom we would not be able to actively share the teachings of Mooji in the above ways.

Ashram:

At the end of the third quarter, 97 trees and 50 baby trees were planted. In addition, 155 bushes, 79 water plants for the lake and 30 water plants for ponds, were also planted.

We are proud and happy to share the latest news, projects and events that have taken place this second quarter of 2016 through the generosity and love of our donors worldwide.

Zmar Silent Retreat

In May, Mooji Foundation hosted a 7-day Silent Retreat in Zmar, Portugal, where 14 Satsangs were offered to many participants who attended in person. Following the overwhelming success and gratitude for the simultaneous interpreting project that took place in Rishikesh, we continued to offer simultaneous interpreting at Zmar for those with limited English in the languages that are most often needed. Each Satsang was translated into Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

As well as those attending in Portugal, hundreds of participants joined online through live broadcast, and it is clear from the many testimonies that are received that in participating this way there is no distance and full benefit to be had. The simultaneous interpreting service was also offered to those joining through the broadcast. All the extra activities that took place during the retreat were also broadcasted, not just the Satsangs themselves, and this added tremendously to those joining online who felt as if they were present in the Satsang space.

Here is a testimony from an online participant:

“Dearest Beloved Mooji, I want to thank you for turning my home into an ashram! I am taking part in this silent retreat at home here in Leicester with my 82 year old dad and it is the first time we spend all this time together in silence. We even have our own message board! As always your pointings reveal that deep silence, full of peace ... and life. That which I am. Thank you Mooji.

P.S. I hope to bring my father with me to meet with you when you are next in the UK. Love and light. In your light I become less and less. Thank you sweet Mooji, Beloved of my Heart.

One month later the same participant shared with us the following:

It is actually amazing what has happened since the on-line retreat. For many years I participated in various retreats, in India, in Greece and in Portugal and whilst light was brought to many of the conditionings I carried with me, when I returned home, those subtle conditionings which only seem to arise at home took hold of me. This time those conditionings came up during the retreat itself as I was participating at home and after so many years, light was shone on them. They are of no interest anymore. It is one of the greatest blessings to be able to be free in my own home with no next being now part of my life here. Thank you for all that you are doing. Om Mooji Baba.

Sunday Satsang

Following Zmar, the much-loved Sunday Satsangs and Tea Satsangs began on 29 May and continued throughout June. In these gatherings, Mooji held open Satsangs, free of charge, where he would receive questions and answer with his direct and profound wisdom, love, clarity and humour. After a short break, he would continue with a Tea Satsang where all are invited to stay while he answers some of the letters which are written to him from all over the world.

Sunday Satsangs and Tea Satsangs were broadcast free of charge on Mooji TV and later on also through Facebook to allow easier access to view. These were also available to be viewed later.

Web-offerings

Our main objective is to enable the sharing of Satsang with as many around the world as possible, knowing fully that there is no distance with this teaching and in the discovery of our true Self. We receive countless testimonies, such as those above, of the power and magnitude of insight that are received through technology and the internet.

On the Moojiji YouTube channel, we uploaded 30 new videos this quarter, totalling 917 videos on this channel. The number of subscribers to date are 90,945.

International Sangha

A heartfelt wish of ours is to connect with the many Mooji Sangha groups from around the world. There are many people who regularly watch videos on YouTube, full Satsang videos and listen to audio podcasts who have joined together to bring Satsang into their homes and have formed groups of their own. The International Sangha team is dedicated to meeting and supporting these groups. There are currently 109 groups all around the world and 103 potential groups currently seeking to become established. This is an immensely beautiful and powerful work to be able to connect with these people and support them to grow and mature.

Monte Sahaja

One of these areas of focus was a circular open garden which is our new welcoming area. It is filled with beautiful plants and a small pond with fish.

The Landcare Team also continued to be busy during this second quarter planting 45 trees, 102 bushes and climbers and continuing to improve access on the land by creating new pathways and building steps, both by hand.

With deep love, we thank all our generous donors for their contributions, which are contributions towards the sharing of the most precious gift of Truth, of the grace of Mooji, of Satsang. The greatest joy of Mooji Foundation is that more and more people are coming back home to themselves, discovering their inherent peace and joy; and in the countless emails, letters and conversations we have with all around the world, we know we are one with you in this gratitude.

And most of all, our hearts sing praise and thanks to Mooji, in whom we are free.
