The primary objective of the Gaza Education Hub is to provide displaced students with the resources and support they need to continue their education during the conflict. The Gaza Strip has been ravaged by war, leading to widespread destruction, displacement, and a deepening humanitarian crisis. Among the hardest hit are university students, whose futures have been thrown into uncertainty. The project provides a conducive learning environment, as a free study space equipped with reliable electricity generated from solar energy to ensure continuous availability, high-speed internet for uninterrupted access to online learning platforms, essential furniture and study materials including desks, chairs, stationery, and laptops, and mental health and emotional support through workshops and counseling services to help students deal with trauma and stress.
The Hub is expected to have a significant and lasting impact on displaced students and the broader Gaza community. The Hub will offer up to 1,000 displaced university and high school students a free, accessible place to study, equipped with all necessary learning resources. With our stable learning environment, students will have the opportunity to improve their academic results and improving their mental health, leading to better employment and educational opportunities in the future.
