In the Gaza Strip, the aspirations of a generation are under siege. War has devastated infrastructure, leaving over 80% of schools destroyed and tens of thousands of students displaced. Families, already stretched to their limits, cannot afford the minimal education costs, forcing dreams to fade into uncertainty. The most basic tools—electricity, the internet, and safe spaces—are luxuries few can access.

Amidst this despair, the Gaza Education Hub offers a lifeline. This initiative provides displaced students with not just a space to learn, but a sanctuary where they can rebuild their futures. With safe, enclosed study spaces powered by renewable energy, access to essential learning resources, and mental health support, the Hub stands as a beacon of hope for Gaza’s youth.

The Mission: Rebuilding Futures Through Education

The Gaza Education Hub is founded on a simple yet transformative belief: every student deserves the chance to learn, no matter their circumstances. Through innovative solutions, the Hub enables over 1,000 displaced students to resume their academic journey. By offering internet access, electricity, and study materials, the Hub transforms barriers into bridges and despair into determination.

Our Objectives:

• Create safe, resource-equipped environments for displaced students.
• Provide uninterrupted, renewable energy-powered online education.
• Support students’ academic performance and mental resilience.
• Empower communities to drive long-term socio-economic development.

Achievements to Date: A Track Record of Impact

Despite the immense challenges, the Gaza Education Hub has delivered transformative results:

Phase I (2024): Pilot Launch

• Secured $1,620 in funding, enabling the establishment of the first pilot space in Deir El Balah.
• Supported 120 students with over 8,640 hours of study time and 540 hours of operational activity.
• Provided access to vital resources, including electricity, internet, and quiet spaces to learn.

Phase II (2024): Expansion and Growth

• Raised €15,000 through crowdfunding partnerships, enabling the launch of a winter-ready learning space.
• Served an additional 250 students, ensuring they could continue their education even during Gaza’s harshest months.
• Installed solar panels, creating a model of sustainability and resilience.

Phase III (2025): Scaling for Impact

• Targeting $46,438 to expand the current hub to serve 600 students.
• Preparing to replicate the successful model in Khan Younis, opening access to 400 more students.

Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond

The Gaza Education Hub’s vision is ambitious yet achievable. By investing in education, we are investing in a brighter future for Gaza. Our roadmap for 2025 includes:

1. Completing the internet infrastructure for expanded learning spaces.
2. Installing additional solar panels to power sustainable growth.
3. Serving 1,000 students across two hubs, including the launch of a second location in Khan Younis.
4. Establishing long-term partnerships with NGOs, businesses, and community leaders to secure sustainable funding.
