Thanks to the generous support of its dondors, CasaSito will launch its Teacher Development Program in 2020. The Program, to be launched in January 2020, will offer partial scholarships to 8 teachers of semi-private and public schools and allow them to participate in activities that awaken their spirit of critical thinking and leadership, enabling them to become effective teachers and successful change-makers within their schools. CasaSito has proven the effectiveness of these teaching techniques, such as debate, through programs offered to their scholarship students since various years.
8 selected teachers will gain the necessary tools to effectively teach the basic curriculum, public speaking and critical thinking within their classrooms. With these tools for success, teachers will be more confident and passionate about their work. At least 400 students annually will gain basic skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and public speaking as well as the standard curriculum.
By doing that, not only individual scholars that receive a scholarship from CasaSito, but also selected teachers and their students will be able to take advantage of the program focused on higher education of teachers.
