At Theodora Children’s Charity, we often work in giggles, smiles, peaceful moments, and meaningful conversations. These can be tricky to measure with numbers, which is why we take a range of approaches to evaluating our impact. We invite children, parents, NHS staff, Giggle Doctors, donors, and many more to tell their stories or complete our surveys and help us see the difference we’re making, and how we can grow this even further.
We are delighted to share that our 2025 Impact Report is now live – click here to read how the fabulous Giggle Doctors visited over 16,522 children in one year!
We discuss how we focused on the quality of Giggle Doctor visits, continuing to train our team and ensuring the consistency of our visits. We celebrated a new hospital partnership, connected with many amazing supporters and reflected on the depth of impact Giggle Doctors have had for some families during their most difficult times. You can also read Louis’ inspiring story and see how he made sure to embrace joy, play and the living in the moment after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
As a small charity your support has an amazing impact on children and their families in hospital, with big ‘knock-on’ effects resulting in lots of indirect benefits for parents, siblings, grandparents and the hospital staff themselves. Last year we positively impacted 63,114 parents, families, NHS staff and children - and we couldn’t have done this without the generosity of supporters like you!
