Clay Cookstoves are good

Women are encouraged to use cookstoves for cooking

Thanks for your cash donation to Stop Cookstoves from Killing South Sudan project. Your contribution to saving a life from toxic oxygen and fire burn is genuinely recognized by those benefiting the most.

At this reporting:
You distributed 65 clay cookstoves to South Sudanese families living in northern Uganda as a result of current unrest in their country. Women are being encouraged to use clay cookstoves for cooking!

A project is encouraging mothers ad young girls to use clay cookstoves when cooking to improve their health and reduces a danger to contract lung disease. Aclinic had not treated any patient with fire burned since most mothers are clay cookstoves.

We have identified five new young women to receive skill training in clay cookstoves making. But due to lack of funding only is receiving coaching. After training, she starts a business of making and selling clay cookstoves to support her family with basic needs and pay school fees to educate her children. We need your help to train many women and young girls!

In the second quarter, we will be posting a new field update reporting the progress on the ground and the positive impact your contribution is creating.
