Thanks for your recent generous gift to Stop Cook stoves from Killing in South Sudan.
We sincerely do appreciate your commitment to help women and girls suffering from toxic oxygen and open fire burn. This initiative has been a great asset for beneficiaries in Omilling. They use wood clay stove for cooking instead of traditional three stones open fire stove which is dangerous. This has improved their health, and protect many to contract lung disease. For two years now, no beneficiary reported to a clinic for fire burn. Most families are opting to cook with wood clay stove because is save, energy efficient, and environment friendly.
Two trainees have been identified to be trained in the skill for making wood clay stove. They will be trained in Uganda in January 2014. Ms.Itwari is a clay stove trainer, and a client in the microloan program in Kampala.
The beneficiaries are eager to see this cause moving forward, but they need your help, so many are trained in the skill of making the clay stove to improve their health, and environment.
A new field update will be posted in the next three months, so you get to know what impact your contribution has help to create in Omilling countryside.
