Many children at Future Stars Preparatory Nursery & Primary School lack access to nutritious fruits, critical for growth, cognitive development, and healthy immunity. Over 70% of children from Entebbe & Kampala slums have limited fruit intake due to congested living conditions. They also lack shaded areas for play and study during hot hours. This project targets 300 vulnerable children, providing fruit trees within school compounds, enhancing nutrition, learning, and environmental stewardship.
This 18-month, $4913 project will provide 300 school children with fruit trees within the school compound, ensuring daily access to vital nutrition for growth, cognitive development, & healthier bodies. Trees will offer shade, beautify the school, & enhance practical science learning, while fostering environmental stewardship.
