Project Update: From Surplus to Survival
Since the start of the year, Insulin for Life USA has redistributed 9,840,700 units of insulin, 28,071 continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and insulin pump supplies, and completed 99 shipments to communities in need, including emergency support for people affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
During the same period, we received 9,676,800 units of donated insulin, highlighting both the strength of our donation network and the continued need for more insulin donations. Rising global shipping costs, driven by the current political and economic climate, have also increased the funding needed to deliver these life-saving supplies. Continued financial support is essential to ensure insulin reaches people who depend on it to survive.
International Shipments
So far this year, Insulin for Life USA has shipped diabetes supplies to 22 countries:
