Vedant Hospital is located in Nashik, in the Indian state Maharashtra. This past year, Smile Train surgeons there performed 144 surgeries. Hospital staff worked with the Impact India foundation to ensure that all cleft patients in Nashik and the surrounding areas received the help that they needed. They traveled to remote, impoverished places in order to provide information about the program and transport patients back to the hospital. In September 2009, also in conjunction with the Impact India Foundation, the hosptial held a day long medical camp. Pictures of this day are attached.
