Progress Report

By Oluseyi Sanyaolu | Program Manager

Dear Donors,

On behalf of Drug-Aid Africa and the communities we serve, thank you for your continued support. Your generosity is the driving force behind our "Free Medicines for Orphanages in Nigeria" project, and it continues to make a tangible difference.

Since our last update, we have made significant progress in extending our reach:

· Expanded Institutional Care: We continue to refill Drug-Aid Boxes for 24 orphanages, including correctional centers for children across Lagos and Ogun States, reaching facilities that house over 1,000 young people thus ensuring uninterrupted access to essential medicines.
· Expanded Sickle Cell Care: We have successfully replicated our sickle cell initiative to Professor Kelsey Harrison Hospital in Port Harcourt. This means that, alongside Massey Children's Hospital, this facility now offers children with sickle cell disease routine medications completely free of charge, ensuring more children can access the care they need.
· Ongoing IDP Support: We continue to supply medicines to vulnerable children and women at the Benue State IDP camp, which has over 5,000 residents, in partnership with UNICEF.

These achievements are a direct result of your partnership. We are committed to transparency and impact, and we look forward to sharing more progress as we continue to serve Africa's most vulnerable communities.
