We are still calling out to donations for our project to raise the fund necessary to open a high-quality Medical Centre, in partnership with Reach Tanzania, within its existing Campus. We are happy that we continue to deliver free Healthcare to nearly 1,000 poor and vulnerable children in Tanzania.
Towards the end of March, we finally got the District Medical Officer (DMO)’s approval and was happy about the setup as things were escalated to the full registration by the Tanzania Ministry of Health. Some new development is to increase the number of consultation rooms, adding up the dressing room and an observation room which we expect to be completed in the end of December.
As we are doing all the work on ground and paper work, we still want to stress how impactful the Medical Centre establishment will be to the lives of the children from poor families. For instance we had a Health check for our 73 Campus Day Care Centre children who were screened for skin diseases, nutritional status and were provided with anti-worm medication to enhance their growth & development. With the medical Centre in place we can maximize this and many other healthcare services to all our beneficiary partners.
We appreciate all your support and we encourage you to help us share our cause with your friends and family.
