By Musa Mbago | Health Project Manager - Tanzania
As we are waiting for our project to raise the fund necessary to open a high-quality Medical Centre, in partnership with Reach Tanzania, within its existing Campus is still in the funding stage, we are delighted to be able to confirm that we continue to deliver free Healthcare to nearly 1,000 poor and vulnerable children in Tanzania.
We are happy that the necessary renovation and construction of the Medical Centre is complete. So far, the main areas that were to be inspected by the DMO (District Medical Officer) for his approval were the Consultation rooms, the Nurse’s room, the Laboratory space, the Phlebotomy space, and other important areas for social services.
Towards the end of March, we finally got the DMO’s approval and is happy about the setup as we’re now waiting for the full registration and purchasing of Equipment to start running the clinic.
We are still putting more effort into spreading the news about this exciting project as we did in the last LittleXLittle campaign in early April. We appreciate all your support and we encourage you to help us share our cause with your friends and family.
