Summer vacations presented a new oportunity to continue implementing Financial Education for our young people. Although schools calendar year begins in October, both at the end of July as well as in the second week of August we counted on support from El Hatillo Municipality to join efforts in order to provide the mentioned training.
Distributed in two intensive class journeys we were able to implement Personal Economics and Financial Education class sessions for providing youngsters with the knowledge and practical tools needed to improve their personal economy guidng them through their present and future entreprenurial efforts for these to be succesful.
Weekly four hours classes as well as week end sessions made it possible- Groups were selected from various schools based on students availability during this period as well as on their interest to continue their learning at spare time through vacaations.
Some of these students have already began their own personal entreneurial project or plan to do so once their secundary education is completed. while others will continue the remaining year at high school,. In both cases, these strenghts will enhance their education curricula allowing them to consider these practical contents at performing their projects..
