Counting on future funds and taking advantage of a long school holidays period we have proceeded to print updated Financial education booklets to be used for future interventions at schools, once new donations are received.
The first cohort of students that have been participating in our programs have already ended their training and are nowdays initiating their careers at universities. Most of them have selected Electronics and IT careers and now count with a more solid basis to complete their studies, considering the weaknesses of our country education system for high school and the lack of a sound programming for high school to support their expectations of being accepted at recognized public universities. Most of them fail at presenting their admission exams.
For one year we have expected our projects to receive funds for completion. Unfortunately reports show just a few donations have been received by Global Giving. Without these there is no probability to continue with this training, which costs have increased dramatically as a result of a deflation/hyperinflation economy as well as a confrontation environment being faced due to the next Assembly elections which have somehow paralyzed universities. We hope to conclude this path we have initiated but will not be able to continue without funds needed to accomplish it.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
