Rising Sun School village Bola is not only providing free quality education to the poor girls of the village but also preparing them to play their role for a peaceful society.
Pakistan is facing a severe of its kind of fundamentalism and culture of intolerance is prevailing day by day. The new generation must be groomed as peace loving. To highlight the importance of peace, a wall painting competition was held among the students of the school. They were provided a space on the wall of the school and were asked to paint the dream of a peaceful Pakistan on the wall. The girls participated enthusiastically and wonderful feelings were expressed with colors. The community was invited to visit the school and see the art work of the girls, Community members appreciated the work of the students and they praised the idea of highlighting the importance of peace through wall competition. They also promised to support the school to continue its services for free quality education to the girls of the village. Prizes were distributed among the competitors. The students were very excited and said that this was first opportunity to have had drawing and we are seeing artists within ourselves. We will work for a peaceful society. We will study with more devotion and the resources of school which are being spent on us will bring result and more girls will start study in the school.
