Small Lifelines, Big Miracles - 989 Free Dialysis Sessions

By Sarah Ahmed | Project Leader

Dear Donor,

Thanks to you, patients who have lost their kidneys – and their ability to pay – are still alive.
This report shares what your support made possible over the last five months.

World Kidney Day at Al-Mustafa Hospital

On World Kidney Day, our dialysis unit held an interactive awareness session where experts gave practical lectures on:

  • How to care for a CKD patient at home
  • Simple daily habits to prevent kidney disease

Patients, families, and community members attended and left with life-saving knowledge.

Key Data at a Glance (Oct 2025–Feb 2026)

  • Free dialysis sessions 989
  • Registered Patients 22
  • New poor patients enrolled 31
  • Medicines given (Epokine + Ferritin) ~400 doses

Zero deaths. Zero patients left against medical advice.

Every patient remained in care, rare for a free dialysis unit.

Quality Notes

  • All patients get lab tests upon arrival and monthly follow-ups
  • Daily doctor visits for every patient
  • New dialyzers are used for each session (safe & hygienic)

You are not just donating.
You are keeping someone’s mother, father, or child alive – people who have lost their kidneys but not their hope.

Thank you for being their lifeline.
