FOUR PAWS April 2020. Animals are our Priority

By Silvia Morales | International Philanthropy and Partnerships

Dear friend,

Onbehalf of all of us at FOUR PAWS wwould  like to extend to you, your family and yourfriends our best wishes in this difficult time. We hope that you and the people you are dear to are safe and healthy and taking all the necessary precautions.

During the last days many  friends and supporters have asked us about the status of our projects in connection to the COVID-19 outbreak and we thought this was a good moment to write to all of you. Indeed, it is a very busy and challenging time for us as well, as we must ensure that our animals are safe and cared for.

Our mission at FOUR PAWS is to protect animals and therefore we are doing everything to prepare for these difficult times: Our Sanctuaries have put together a continuity plan for food, water and nutrition for all our animals ensuring their well-being for a longer period of time. Our caretakers and sanctuary staff are prepared for eventualities and we have made the necessary safety, maintenance and nutrition provisions for all animals. All our sanctuaries are closed to the public but our caretakers are there for the animals.

Our animal welfare projects and programmes are ongoing and will continue as per usual, but stricktly following the measures established by the governments of each country. Our maximum priority is the well-being of our animals and we have adapted preventive measures to keep the projects running smoothly.

We wanted to assure you that FOUR PAWS is fully committed to our work, our team and our partners and collaborators and we will continue to adapt the necessary measures to continue working for the protection and care of animals in need. Do not hesitate to visit our website for updates on our latest activities and our studies on the ongoing situation and it's relation with animal welfare.

Since we are aware that you may be at home and taking care of yourself and your loved ones, we wanted to make sure you are properly entertained, whenever you have the time. We have put together some fun tips, videos and games on our "Click and Learn" section for you to enjoy and get the positive energy flowing!

Once again, we hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and would like thank you for your care for animals in need  and your ongoing support, especially in these challenging times.

Wishing you all the best for the next comming months,

The FOUR PAWS Team
