We are not out of the woods yet. Challenge after challenge has been brought about by pandemic while Typhoon Odette badly battered Negros Oriental where Dumaguete City is located.
Construction of the Science Wing is still on hold. As reported, we continue to protect the site from damage and spoilage from the elements moreso that Typhoon Odette has badly stricken our location. In addition, we have started to paint the steel bars with primer to protect it from rust brought about by the very strong rains in December. Full-time security measures have been fully implemented to protect the existing structure from theft.
Meantime, we continue to appeal to our donors to be able to continue buying equipment for the science laboratories.
