Dear donor,
Today we not only want to thank you, because together we continue to reach more families. Today, we want to tell you about the stories that motivate us to keep doing what we do. Building a more just Colombia without poverty.
Today, we want to talk to you about Luz Mary. She comes from Venezuela, our neighboring country, which connects us through borders, customs, and resilient and entrepreneurial people. Luz arrived in the Brisas de la Esperanza community in Soacha, with her mother and daughter a few years ago. Gradually, Luz Mary has been working to provide a better place for her daughter. She is dedicated to sewing and various trades, living with her mother since they arrived in the community. Her mother gave her a piece of her land to build her own home and, little by little, expand her opportunities.
Today, Luz Mary has a secure home. The community has a beautiful view of the entire municipality of Soacha, and you can even see the great capital, Bogotá, from there. With just a few steps, this family will enjoy that view, and the strong winds and rains will no longer be a problem.
With your help, we will continue to make stories like Luz's possible.
¡Don't stay behind and join the generation that transforms realities!
