Fortunately, high school and university students have been returning to their schools since the beginning of this year.
However, after the experiences of past months, where students were left behind and the lack of access to the use of technologies, one of the strategies for student care is through contact centers.
To date we already have four contact centers for attention and monitoring of various students.
These contact centers located in Creel, Bocoyna municipality; another in the Guachochi area, a third center in the town of Yerbitas in the Guadalupe y Calvo municipality, and another in the city of Chihuahua.
Today, at least 50 students make use of these contact centers. Currently 350 students are accompanied in educational training processes with the main objective being to generate greater opportunities for development (being and doing in freedom), by favoring equal conditions in access to inclusive education.
In these centers the participation and organization of the students is promoted, starting from the integration of small groups. It is sought that they themselves appropriate this space. Recognize themselves as Fundación Tarahumara students.
All four contact centers have Internet service.
Equity? Inclusion? Only if we create development opportunities for these indigenous students and their families in the Sierra Tarahumara.
