Dear GlobalGiving community,
We are pleased to share the progress of our project “For a Fulfilling Life: Scholarships for Vulnerable Older Adults,” an initiative that seeks to ensure dignified, healthy, and supported aging for the residents of Casa Teodoro Gildred in Mexico City.
Thanks to the generous support received through GlobalGiving, we have raised 740 USD, which directly helps cover essential needs such as food, medicine, hygiene products, and basic medical care. Each donation represents an act of care and solidarity for those who need it most.
Beyond material support, this project promotes activities that strengthen autonomy, social inclusion, and emotional well-being through occupational therapy, cognitive stimulation sessions, and spaces that foster joy and community engagement.
Although we have not yet reached our full funding goal, we continue to work actively to build new partnerships, ensure the program’s sustainability, and expand its reach. Every step brings us closer to guaranteeing a dignified and fulfilling life for our residents.
To all who have already contributed, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your support inspires us to keep building an environment where aging is lived with care, respect, and hope.
We invite you to continue sharing this initiative. Together, we can keep transforming lives and honoring those who have shaped ours.
With gratitude,
Fundación Bringas-Haghenbeck IAP
