A total of 100 single mothers from refugee communities were supported through an initiative aimed at improving their well-being and living conditions. The initiative recognized the challenges faced by single mothers, including poverty, unemployment, limited access to basic needs, and the responsibility of caring for their children without adequate support. The support provided aimed to reduce their vulnerability, promote self-reliance, and strengthen their ability to provide for their families. This intervention was an important step toward empowering vulnerable women, improving household welfare, and promoting dignity and social inclusion within refugee communities. It also aimed to strengthen the mothers’ resilience and encourage them to seek opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. However, many single mothers continue to face challenges such as high living costs, limited employment opportunities, inadequate housing, and difficulties meeting their children’s basic needs. Continued support through vocational training, income-generating activities, psychosocial support, and access to essential services is therefore recommended to ensure sustainable improvements in their lives. Supporting these 100 single mothers demonstrates a commitment to protecting vulnerable women, promoting economic empowerment, and building stronger, more resilient refugee communities.
