Hello our friends,
I hope everyone is well!
Today, I am grateful to share with you an exciting informaiton about WORLD REFUGEES'DAY.
The Darfur Women Network (DWN) is participating by sharing stories about our Darfur refugee, Khadegah,. The Globalgiving has done incredible work and support towards small organizations like DWN to grow. The Globalgiving chose DWN to be part of the celebration for the first time despite the world celebrating the World Refguees'Day since 2001.
I hope that the world lives in peace to eliminate the suffering and to help war-affected people to live with dignity and without fear. I know what it means when you fear your lives and your families'-I couldn't forget my experience about conflict in my city in Darfur in 1996.
On June 20,2017, the World Refugee Day. We invite you to celebrate with us by supporting our project" "Food Security and Agriculture," on Globalgiving's Instagram account on World Refugee day.
Here is the article the Globalgiving put together compiling refugee stories that GlobalGiving will be sharing widely on World Refugee Day. Please do share with your networks! https://medium.com/globalgoodness/12-powerful-refugee-stories-from-around-the-world-5c0a54d2e2ed
