Darfur Women Network is grateful for your generous donation and your strong support. On July 22,I shared the progress about our Project and how wet we have worked diligently to obtain some documents to enable us to do our work, however, you can’t predict when you will have your official documents approved or issued.
I have called consistently and followed up, however, we are still waiting for some of these documents. The only way to call is international calls and it is the most expensive ($5 for 7 minutes). Using internet to call internationally for no cost (Viber, emo, or WhatsApp’s) is not working in Chad.
Yesterday, Saturday October 15, I was able to talked to one of our staff there while he is one his way to their farm. I couldn’t hear him well. He will be back during coming week and we’ll have the information about the harvest by next week or by the end of October 2016.
I can’t wait to bring the exciting news of success from the farm and the camp to our generous donors.
