Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative mitigating the food crisis. Several events like climate change, loss of soil fertility, low capital of farmers have exacerbated the food crisis and there is a need to provide solution to this dire situation. One of the ways we approach this is by the training of farmers to utilize as much space in the home in order to grow food and using local materials that are considered of no value already. An example are containers, bottles, waste plastic, old tires and so on. The list is endless. The requirement is that the area is under full sun and that soil fertility is present and this can be done by recycling organic waste as fertilizer. This reporting period we were able to train and educate 120 farmers to do this approach. Hoping that you will continue to support us as we reach-out to more farmers.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
