Summary

We are providing free scholarships, regenerative farming training, farming equipment to 50 poor conflict affected woman and young girl in domestic violence, trafficking, sex exploitation and whose hunger children are stunted and farming soil lacking biological, physical properties and chemical element , the project will ensure soil health, biodiversity, increase food production and climate resilient .

Challenge

The project is triggered by the urgency and rampancy of high social and environmental constraining food system and insufficient low nutritive food supplied against small scale holders and farmland in the Bakossi forest of Cameroon. The. 2020 and 2030 National agricultural Investment Plan(NAIP)and the Rural Sector Development Strategy(RSDS) for Cameroon agricultural reform been created but however, Government lack funding and resources to sponsor state ministries, agencies, cooperative

Solution

Through provision of free scholarships training on regenerative farming practices such as no tillage mulching crop diversity composting, natural integrated pest, including business model canvas and financial literacy curriculum, provision of seeds and equipment , and using of soil testers and mobile digital app satellite application technology on soil and plants management .and integration of erosion control vetiver grass plants and plantation of drought resistant and income generating fru

Long-Term Impact

Improved livelihood in sustainable farming and revenue realization from growing cash crops and marketable forest product like honey in farmlands Environmental health and forest regeneration from continuous growing food crops through advance farming practices and farming multiple crops year round. Wildlife wellbeing and security in the Bakossi protected forest from alternative livelihood and creation of natural habitat from tree plantation Climate resilient from little or no carbon releas
