Hungry Students Struggle to Stay in University

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Food Assistance for Struggling University Students project. Your contribution is truly appreciated and brings hope to students facing hunger and financial hardship. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the project yet, and more support is needed.

Many university students across Nigeria continue to struggle with rising food costs, tuition expenses, and limited family support. Some students skip meals daily, making it difficult to concentrate during lectures, remain healthy, or perform well academically.

Without regular nutrition, many vulnerable students remain at risk of malnutrition, absenteeism, poor academic performance, and possible school dropout.

This project is designed to provide food assistance packages containing staples, fresh produce, and nutritious food items for struggling students across multiple universities. Distribution will be coordinated with student representatives to help reach the most vulnerable students fairly.

With the right support, students can focus better on their education, maintain healthier living conditions, and continue pursuing their academic goals without constant hunger.

We remain grateful for the support received so far and hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this important student support intervention.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
