Over the past several months, forty-two (42) children received nutritious meals, snacks, and vitamins to enhance their physical strength and immunity. Nine (9) babies, aged between five (5) months and two (2) years, were provided with milk and necessary care and protection.
Six (6) children underwent assessments revealing Global Developmental Delay and features of Autism Spectrum Disorder. To address their needs, an in-house Occupational therapist was enlisted to support them. This report aims to highlight the progress observed among the children during this period.
Initial assessments revealed various challenges including age-inappropriate self-regulation, intense reactions to stimuli, social and emotional difficulties, and resistance to certain activities. However, over the course of seven (7) months, these six (6) kids showed notable improvements.
These improvements include the adoption of therapeutic self-regulation techniques, better management of emotions during difficult situations, and a decrease in the intensity and duration of tantrums. They have also shown increased tolerance for activities involving changes in head position and improved flexibility in managing withdrawal behaviors. While rigidity persists to some extent, it is now more manageable.
Furthermore, there has been progress in daily living skills such as independent use of utensils, toileting, cleaning, organizing, and snack preparation, often with minimal assistance.
All these – meals, viatmins, therapies, medical assessments wouldn’t have been possible without your help. We are very grateful for your love and support towards our kids. May God bless you a millionfold for your generosity and kindness.
