Proyecto Caracol Healthy Environments and Born Learning

By Vania Monterrubio | Manager

Healthy Environments and Born Learning

Mexico has a diverse cultural configuration, everything that is named “indigenous” it’s always meaning “a way of identity. In their majority, indigenous cultures, live in a rural context and their economic activities relay on, the land and/or the sea. Thus from United Way Mexico, we stand for the promotion of childcare from an inclusive perspective.

We made a new alliance with Instituto Pensamiento y Cultura en América Latina, they will help us in the translation, adaptation, and reorganization of United Way Born Learning material for parents, into a common perspective for our community colleges (indigenous beneficiaries) in order to promote childhood development among healthy environments.

To support parents, caregiver, and communities that care for early childhood, it’s a bet for United Way México in the creation of the better society. We are going to building reflexive, loving and healthy spaces to receive and embrace children that have being victims of the earthquakes of September 2017.
