Dear Friends and well wishers

We thank Global Giving and all well wishers for your support.  We have been able to help many familieis and here are some more stories of families who were supported:

A. Ranganayagi

Ranganayagi and Arumugam reside at Athivakkam village of Kanchipuram District along with her two children. The family lived in a small thatched roof house. During the floods, their house got flooded due to which the walls collapsed. They did not have safe shelter to survive. The family was supported with an amount of Rs.10000 to repair the damaged house.

K. Mallika

Mallika and Kumar reside at K. Nelvai village of Kanchipuram District. The family comprises of six members including her children. The family was living in a poor socio-economic condition in a thatched roof house. During the floods, their house was washed away. They had no shelter to reside and nowhere to go. It was very tough for them to manage the situation. Considering their status, the family was supported with an amount of Rs.50000 to rebuild the lost house.

Gangammal

Gangammal is a senior citizen residing at Zameen Endathur village of Kanchipuram District. She lives with her daughter and two grandchildren in a thatched roof house. During the deluge of December 2015, the house was flooded and the compound wall collapsed due to which the total area got washed away. They were living in a severe distress. Keeping their poor socio-economic background in mind, the family was supported with an amount of Rs.30000 to restore the compound wall.

V. Senthil kumar

Senthil Kumar resides at Keezhagandai village of Kanchipuram District with his family. They lived in a thatched roof house and their family was severely affected during the floods. The surrounding walls were broken and their house was completely washed away. This left the family with no space to live. Considering their tough situation, they were supported with an amount of Rs.50000 to rebuild their house.
