Good Cause Foundation remains committed to improving maternal and child wellbeing through targeted interventions that address the practical needs of vulnerable families. One such intervention is our diaper support project, which continues to provide valuable assistance to young mothers across rural Uganda.
During recent community visits, our team distributed diapers to mothers caring for infants and toddlers. For many recipients, the support represented a significant source of relief as they face increasing economic pressures and limited income opportunities.
The provision of diapers plays an important role in promoting infant health and hygiene. Clean and dry babies are less likely to experience skin irritation, infections, and other health complications associated with poor sanitation. By helping mothers access these essential supplies, we are contributing to healthier childhood development outcomes.
The outreach activities also included discussions on parenting, hygiene, and community health. Mothers actively participated in these sessions, demonstrating a strong commitment to learning and improving the wellbeing of their children.
