Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers,
We sincerely appreciate your continuous support of our mission. Your contributions help us sustain our Info Hub project and maintain our ERP system. We are proud to operate the only database in Egypt that collects and manages information about people with physical disabilities, and it continues to grow every day, with an average of 15 new beneficiaries (wheelchair users).
You have been part of every milestone in our journey. Since our start in 2013 with only 40 beneficiaries, we have now expanded to support over 15,000 beneficiaries across Egypt, and we are aiming to reach more than 20,000 beneficiaries by the end of 2026. Through our reliable data and insights, we work closely with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity to better understand the needs of wheelchair users and support the development of effective solutions, policies, and regulations. This vital information must be properly collected, analyzed, and evaluated—and this is exactly the purpose of our Info Hub initiative.
Recently, Alhassan Foundation for Differently Abled Inclusion organized a members gathering in 10th of Ramadan City, bringing together more than 160 beneficiaries and their families from Sharqia, Ismailia, and Suez. The gathering aimed to strengthen the connection between our members, introduce the Foundation's services, and create a welcoming space where people with disabilities and their families could connect, learn, and support one another.
The gathering brought together participants from different governorates.
A total of more than 160 participants attended, including:
The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with positivity, joy, and meaningful interaction. Participants had the opportunity to meet others who share similar experiences, exchange stories, and build new friendships in an inclusive and supportive environment.
During the gathering, the Foundation presented an overview of its main initiatives, including Source of Income, which helps families launch small income-generating projects to improve their financial stability, and Kids on Wheelchairs, which provides psychological and physical support for children with disabilities. Parents also participated in awareness sessions designed to help them better support their children and promote greater inclusion in their communities.
To bring even more joy to the children, Alhassan Foundation organized a drawing and coloring workshop where more than 20 children with disabilities participated. Through art, the children were encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy a fun and inclusive experience alongside their peers. At Alhassan Foundation, we believe that art gives every child a voice and helps create a sense of belonging and equality.
The event reflected a strong message of hope, inclusion, and resilience, truly aligned with Alhassan Foundation's belief:
"Ability is not in the body… it's in the will."
At the conclusion of the day, we extended our sincere gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed our commitment to organizing more gatherings across Egypt to continue spreading awareness, inclusion, and hope.
We also thank every donor and supporter who makes this impact possible. Your continued support enables us to reach more wheelchair users and their families with the services they need and deserve.
