Cairo Members Gathering

By Nour Elmasry | Digital Marketing Specialist

Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers,

We sincerely appreciate your continuous support of our mission. Your contributions help us sustain our “Info Hub” project and maintain our ERP system. We are proud to operate the only database in Egypt that collects and manages information about people with physical disabilities, and it continues to grow daily with an average of 15 new beneficiaries (wheelchair users).

You have been part of every milestone in our journey. Since our start in 2013 with only 40 beneficiaries, we have now expanded to support over 15,000 beneficiaries across Egypt, and we are aiming to reach more than 20,000 beneficiaries by the end of 2026. Through our reliable data and insights, we work closely with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity to better understand the needs of wheelchair users and support the development of effective solutions, policies, and regulations. This vital information must be properly collected, analyzed, and evaluated — and this is exactly the purpose of our “Info Hub” initiative.

On April 29, 2025, Alhassan Foundation for Differently abled inclusion organized a members gathering in Cairo. The purpose of the gathering was to introduce the Foundation’s mission and highlight the different initiatives that empower and support people with disabilities and their families.

The gathering brought together beneficiaries from Cairo.

A total of 126 participants attended, including:

  • 25 children
  • 53 men
  • 48 women

The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with positivity, engagement, and meaningful interaction among all attendees.

During the gathering, the Foundation presented an overview of its main initiatives, including “Source of Income”, which helps families launch small income-generating projects to improve financial stability, and “Kids on Wheelchair”, which focuses on providing psychological and physical support for children with disabilities. We also conducted awareness sessions for parents to help them better support their children and encourage stronger inclusion in society.

The event reflected a strong message of hope and resilience, truly aligned with Alhassan Foundation’s belief:
“Ability is not in the body… it’s in the will.”

At the conclusion of the day, we extended our sincere gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed our commitment to organizing more gatherings in the future to continue spreading awareness, inclusion, and hope.

We also thank every donor and supporter who makes this impact possible. We encourage you to continue standing with us through monthly donations, helping us reach more wheelchair users and their families with the support they deserve.
